We always try to make the costumes ourselves or at less most of them and the red riding hood was pretty simple with different coloured cloths and an old Easter basket.
But sponge bob was a bit tricker. I grabbed a few boxes from work small enough to fit on there little heads and some new paints from the craft shop and that night started to draw on the face and paint.
The only thing that took time waiting for paint to dry literally, only took a few coats till I was happy and to finish off the costume was a white shirt, a red tie, cut off brown trousers into shorts and some socks with drawn on lines.
The only problem was that once Moo saw sponge bob standing in her living room she wanted one, so the night before once My night shift had finished I sat till 2 am putting the finishing touches to a Patrick costume based on the same design as the spongebob.
I was really happy with my sponge bob and Patrick until the following morning when Moo decided she wanted to go as elsa!!!
Nevermind as long as she happy and all's well that ends well, roll on Easter hopefully no one wants to be a bunny.
